Fisheries Education and Competition Festival 2020 is the second annual event organized by the Jakarta Fisheries College after being successfully held in 2019. This national level competition was participated not only by public and private universities, but also various official schools took part in the 2020 Physical competition. The theme of this competition is “Blue Economy to Realize Indonesia’s Global Maritime Axis”, with four choices of sub-themes, namely Marine and Fishery Industry Technology (Capture, Cultivation, and Processing), Strengthening the Competitiveness of Marine and Fishery Products, Conservation and Resource Management Waters, and Empowerment and Welfare of Fishery Communities. The competition consists of five categories, namely essays, entrepreneurship, technological innovation, infographics, and short videos with reference to predetermined themes and sub-themes.

The series of Final FISIONTICAL 2020 events starts from February 15, 2020 to February 18, 2020, which consists of a final event with finalists, talk shows, and field trips. The UGM delegation from the Gama Fish team consisting of Sahid Hanan Fauzi and Rafelino Sutan Aghe arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Jakarta at 16.40 WIB after flying from Yogyakarta Adisucipto Airport for approximately one hour drive. After arriving at Halim Airport, the delegation rushed to the official school under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, namely the Jakarta Fisheries College, to conduct a technical meeting of finalists. The TM event takes place from 20.30 to 22.00 WIB. The final event agreement has been agreed upon by the finalists. The presentation method used in each competition category is different. Some are closed and some are semi-closed. The entrepreneurship competition uses a closed presentation method, so that in the presentation room there are only the jury, committee, and finalists who make product presentations. Armed with nugget and stick products supported by banners that provide clear information and attractive ppt presentation files, we began to explain our products in front of the jury. As a result, the jury’s response was quite positive. The jury was even ready to help develop our business in Jogja. Besides that, our products were also purchased by the jury. After the final session, the event continued the next day. The interactive seminar, which was attended by the Secretary of the Marine & Fisheries Human Resources Research Agency, namely Dr. Maman Hermawan, M.Sc., and startup figures in the field of marine and fisheries who are very inspirational to the millennial generation, such as the Founder of Silly Fish Indonesia, Rika Puspita.

This competition was participated by 122 teams and 38 finalists were selected from the initial selection stage . The UGM Fisheries Delegation won second and third place after presenting the products of the seven finalists present. The Gama Fish team, with the names of delegates Sahid Hanan Fauzi and Rafelino Sutan Aghe, alhamdulillah, managed to win the third place title with the title ZEWACAL (Zero Waste Clarias). While the second place was won by the UGM Fisheries team with the names of the delegates Farkhana Laily and Mahda Mustofa with the title K-POP product. The first winner was won by Bogor Agricultural Institute students with the title of Babusemia product.
