The Bachelor in Aquaculture (BAq) is one of study program at Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The Bachelor in Aquaculture (BAq) is one of the nine study programs at Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Gadjah Mada, which hold an academic education program at the Undergraduate program, as declare at Rector’s Decree Number 1718/UN1.P/HUKOR/2017.
The Vision of BAq
To become an excellent study program able to compete at the national and international levels, develop aquaculture science and technology, as well as produce professional graduates who have good morals, and are highly competent in the field of aquaculture to improve societal welfare
The Mission of BAq
- Developing a productive, accountable, high quality, and efficient education to produce professionals and highly competent graduates in aquaculture and fisheries entrepreneurship;
- Mobilizing progress to improve education quality and advancement of science and technology to achieve a productive, high-quality, efficient, economical, competitive, responsible, and sustainable field of aquaculture;
- Promoting the application of science and technology or research results through community service, especially those related to aquaculture based on social responsibility;
- Collaborating with alumni and related domestic and foreign institutions in the framework of implementing the tri darma.
